One-to-One Coaching
In today’s world of poker solvers and online courses, there’s no shortage of material to help players improve. However, the fastest and most impactful path to success remains one-to-one coaching. In our sessions, we’ll sit down to review your hands, uncover specific leaks in your game, and address areas that generalized courses often miss.
For online players who track hand histories using tools like PokerTracker or Holdem Manager, we’ll conduct a detailed database analysis. By examining patterns and frequencies in your play – such as raise first in and 3-bet frequencies from various positions – we can pinpoint areas for immediate improvement. Leveraging my experience, we’ll ensure your play aligns with what top players do to succeed.
If our analysis reveals statistics that deviate from optimal frequencies, we’ll embark on a structured training program tailored to your needs. This program begins by mastering preflop decisions – an area where many players have untapped potential – before moving systematically through flop, turn, and river strategies. Each step ensures that your new approach is grounded in sound theoretical principles.
Session Structure
Our one-to-one sessions are two hours long and divided into two focused segments:
-
First Hour: Dive deep into poker theory, covering key concepts and strategies thus increasing your overall knowledge whilst improving your logic.
-
Second Hour: Apply your new knowledge to your own hands and gameplay, analysing specific situations and reflecting on areas for improvement, in correlation to actual population tendencies.
While our foundation will incorporate optimal strategies, we won’t aim to play like a computer. Instead, we’ll blend Game Theory Optimal (GTO) principles with exploitative strategies that adapt to the tendencies of your real-world opponents. This balance ensures that you’re not only technically sound but also strategically versatile at the tables.
Group Webinars
Take your poker learning to the next level by joining our interactive two-hour group webinars. Limited to just five students, these sessions provide an in-depth exploration of tournament poker, with each week focusing on a different key concept. Sharing this journey with peers allows you to learn not only from my guidance but also from the insightful questions and experiences of others.
In addition to theory, we’ll analyze specific hands from tournaments, including those played by myself and fellow students. Together, we’ll identify what worked well and uncover areas for improvement, ensuring practical application of the concepts discussed.

Join the AK community
As part of being coached by myself, you will be given access to my exclusive online community of students and resources, which takes place on Discord. Here, you will be invited to post descriptions and screenshots of situations you found yourself unsure in – and the AK Community will be there to offer help and advice. Every great poker player in the world will tell you that one of the best ways to get better is to surround yourself with the thoughts and ideas of other winning players – and I will be there to guide you through the process of reflecting upon your hands with constructive criticism, just as all the top players do.
Some of the players you will meet during this experience may become good friends and you will no doubt see them at poker stops across the UK. That sense of shared camaraderie and experience is a valuable part of becoming a developed, resilient player and, who knows, you may be the one providing a future testimonial for my coaching having gone on to great things within the game!
